Community Work Day: Clean Up the Wat’s property and Wash : Saturday, August 4, 2018
Our Mission:
"To use our hands and hearts in loving kindness to make our Wat Buddhametta property clean again."
After the monsoon rains, the weeds have return to our land again. It is time to re-visit the entire property to see what needs to be removed. We cleaned once in spring and now it is time to do it again but this time, it will not the immense job that we did the last time. In general, it consists of cleaning up the trash that has blown onto the property, taking the already-cut tree branches and weeds on the Wat's property to the roll-off container on our property provided by the City of Tucson.
If you have a chainsaw, a weedeater, shovel, a wheelbarrow, rakes, brooms, gloves, etc., please bring them with you on the work day.
After work, Wat Buddhametta will provide a brunch of Thai vegetarian food.
Let’s work together to beautify the grounds of our Wat Buddhametta.
