New Year’s Day Buddhist Blessing, Chanting & Alms Offering
**9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.**
9:30 AM : arrive at Wat Buddhametta
10:00 AM :The blessings chanting.
10:30 AM : Alms offering. You are welcome to bring your food (dishes) for the alms offering & share it with the community.
11:00 AM :Lunch Offering to monks and nuns.
12:00 PM :Community lunch available for everyone.
02:00 PM :Receiving the blessings from the monks and closing.
*Community lunch for everyone at Noon after lunch offering to monks, a nun and an Anagarika.

We will begin the year of 2019 with our new capital campaign to raise money to pay down the temple’s mortgage by $20,000, via pledges of $100. If you would like to help the monastery to meet this goal, please consider making a donation at the ceremony. This campaign will start on January 1, 2019 and continue through December 31,2019. Please make your checks payable to “Wat Buddhametta” or “Tucson Buddhist Meditation Center.” For credit card or online donations, please use the "Donations" page located on the top right-hand side of the menu of each page. We also accept cash donations as well. All donations are tax deductible, as we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
