Sunday Evening Silent Meditation & Dhamma Talk/Reflection

For those interested in deepening their meditation practice and for those exploring Theravada Buddhism come and join us. This session is for advanced meditators who have the ability to meditate, sitting and walking, for 30 minutes at a time without instructions. The length of the sitting, walking, sitting meditation is 2 hours.

Please Note: If you are new to the temple, please don't be afraid that you might be greeted by our dog; his name is Samma, he is very friendly. Normally, one of our monks will greet you by the entrance area inside the building. Whenever, the monk is not present; Samma is the greeter and welcome you by the doorstep.  Please call him by his name: Samma then he will lead you into the meditation room/Buddha Room.

New Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Nature of the session:
5:25p.m.     3 Bells and 3 Bows Welcoming to Dhamma/Greeting.

5:30 p.m.   30 minutes silent sitting in session. Please walk in silently if you come after the session has already begun.

6:00 p.m.    20 minutes walking meditation in silent

6:25 p.m.   20 minutes silent sitting

6:45 p.m.   Metta: Loving-kindness meditation.

7:00  p.m.  Dhamma Talk by AjahnSarayut, the Abbot

7:30 pm    3 Bells and 3 Bows out to Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha, and the teacher.
